LOAN ENTRANCE COUNSELING
In order to receive your first William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan at Purdue University Calumet, Federal law requires that you must complete Loan Entrance Counseling. We want to ensure that you have a full understanding of the rights and responsibilities you will incur before you accept this loan.

This on-line Entrance Counseling is designed to help you understand your Direct Loan. There will be an opportunity  to have any questions you may have about your Direct Loan answered before you complete this interactive program. Do not hesitate to contact the Financial Aid Office at any time if you have questions about your Direct loans, or any other financial aid concern.

WHO MUST COMPLETE ENTRANCE COUNSELING?
Any undergraduate or graduate student attending Purdue University Calumet who has not previously borrowed funds from the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan program at Purdue Calumet and has been awarded William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan funds.

Note:  The on-line counseling session is only for those students awarded a William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan who have not already completed their Entrance Loan Counseling at Purdue Calumet.  Please contact the Office of Financial Aid if you have any questions about this site.

When you click the link below you will be taken to the Direct Loan web site to complete your Loan Entrance Counseling. You will need to choose the "Entrance Counseling Tutorial" link.  After you read all the material you will take a Loan Entrance Counseling Quiz. Before you take the quiz you will be asked to choose a school. First you will pick the State the school is located in, for Purdue University Calumet, select IN for Indiana.  You will need to scroll down the list of schools and choose Purdue University Calumet, 2200-169th Street, Hammond, IN - G01827
